1. Ensure 'TV Power Control' has been enabled for the 'TV (eARC)' source.
This can be done via the StreamMagic app by navigating to 'Sources' > 'Edit Sources' > 'TV (eARC)'.
2. Make sure the HDMI cable has been connected to an ARC/eARC HDMI port on your TV
Not all TV HDMI sockets will support ARC/eARC, most TVs will only contain one ARC/eARC socket, or in some cases, two.
3. Make sure all relevant 'CEC' settings have been enabled on your TV
4. Make sure the relevant external sound system is enabled on your TV's settings menu
The above image is an example of a Philips TV running an Android system.
In this case, 'EasyLink' is the name used by Philips to indicate HDMI CEC. If this setting is not 'EasyLink autostart', then the Evo One or any other HDMI ARC/eARC device will not receive audio.
Similar settings may be found with other brands and models of TVs as well, but with alternative naming.
We would recommend checking the manual of your TV or contacting the manufacturer of your TV for more information on this.
