Some Connected TVs will send an inconsistent sample rate to the EXA100, that the DAC inside the amplifier is unable to process. This can result in audio dropouts and glitches. If this is the case with your EXA100, ‘TV Mode’ will need to be enabled within the amplifier by following the steps below.
Note: TV Mode will only be applied to the D2 and eARC inputs on the EXA100, so you will need to ensure that your TV is connected to one of these inputs.
- Enter the setup menu - Whilst the EXA100 is in standby mode, press and hold speaker A/B button until speaker A/B white LED’s flash alternately, then release speaker A/B button.
- Select the A2 button - A2 button functions are described below:
Button A2 toggles between TV optimized mode on both the D2 and eARC inputs.
A2 on (A2 LED will be lit blue) – TV mode is enabled
A2 off – TV mode is disabled
To save the setup settings and exit the setup menu, press the Speaker A/B button.
Pressing the Standby/On button while in the setup menu will exit this setup menu and will not save the setup settings.
