1. Ensure that the supplied Bluetooth antenna is properly connected to the back of the unit
The EXA100 will be unable to connect to a Bluetooth device without the antenna connected. Try disconnecting and then re-connecting the antenna.
2. Ensure that the Bluetooth source has been selected by selecting the Bluetooth button on the front panel or remote control
You will only be able to pair a Bluetooth-enabled device to the EXA100 while the Bluetooth input is selected.
3. Ensure that your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode and not already connected to another Bluetooth unit
4. Forget the EXA100 from your devices’ list of discoverable Bluetooth items and start the pairing process again
5. Perform a factory reset on the EXA100:
You can perform a factory reset on the EXA100 by following the steps below:

- Enter the setup menu - Whilst the EXA100 is in standby mode, press and hold speaker A/B button until speaker A/B white LED’s flash alternately, then release speaker A/B button.
- In sequence press D1, D3, BT and D2 buttons. All input LED’s will then flash white momentarily before the EXA100 re-enters standby mode.
- Turn the EXA100 back on
6. Switch off any other Bluetooth devices in the vicinity and try the pairing process again.
There could be other Bluetooth devices in the room that could be interfering with the signal
7. Try to connect a different Bluetooth device to the EXA100 to see if the issue persists
It may be an issue with your Bluetooth device.
