1. Make sure your earphones are in pairing mode
The ear buds will flash white and blue when in pairing mode. You can ensure that they are in pairing mode by doing the following:
With your M100 in your ears, tap and hold the L or R earphone touch surface for 8 seconds until you hear “Waiting to Pair” and the M100 LEDs flash white and blue. Alternatively, with your M100 in the charging case, press and hold the case function button for 3 seconds until you see the M100 LED flash white and blue.
- When the LEDs on your M100 are flashing blue and white, go to the Bluetooth settings on your device.
- Select Melomania M100.
- Your M100 should now be paired and connected.
2. Ensure that the M100 aren’t already paired to another two devices
The ear buds will remember the last several connected devices so it can quickly reconnect. They will also only be able to connect to two devices at the same time.
If there are previously connected Bluetooth devices nearby, turn off those devices (or turn off Bluetooth in their settings menu), then check if the issue is resolved.
3. Do you have the same issue with other Bluetooth devices?
Try pairing your ear buds with a different device to determine whether the issue may be related to the first device or its settings.
4. Clear the memory of your M100 on the device you wish to connect to. Then try connecting again
Bluetooth devices typically remember the last several devices they connected to so they can quickly reconnect to them. In case there is an issue with the device memory, remove your M100 in the Bluetooth device list, then reconnect. This list is normally found in the device's Bluetooth settings. This can be done by ‘forgetting’ (on iOS) or ‘unpairing’ (Android) your earbuds.
You can then try reconnecting to the device as if it were a new device.
