The EXA100 has an HDMI eARC/ARC input to allow a connection to a TV that supports ARC/eARC function. This can be done with a HDMI cable that is compatible with HDMI 1.4 or above.
Once your TV and EXA100 are connected via the ARC/eARC input, you will need to ensure the 'TV' input has been selected via the EXA's front panel. You will also need to ensure that the audio output of your TV’s settings are configured to PCM/Stereo and that all relevant ARC/eARC, CEC and output speaker settings have been enabled on your TV.
If you are unsure of how to amend your settings, please consult your TV’s manufacturer.
If you experience any issues with this connection, we have a troubleshooting guide here which may be helpful.
A TV can also be connected to one of the digital inputs on the EXA, as long as the TV has the required Optical or Coaxial output. Ensure that the output audio settings on the TV are set to PCM or Stereo, as the EXA is only able to decode a Stereo signal.
Please also ensure that the digital input that the TV is connected to has been selected on the front panel of the EXA (D1, D2 or D3).
