You cannot use an external phono stage with the Alva TT.
The turntable features a proprietary Cambridge Audio phono stage built-in (based on our award-winning ALVA Solo & Duo phono stages) which is compatible with Moving Magnet (MM) or high output Moving Coil (MC) cartridges.
Please Note: If your amplifier includes a phono stage built in, do not connect the Alva TT to the phono input. Connect the turntable to any other available RCA analogue input.
