The EXA100 has a feature called Automatic Power Down (APD) which is enabled by default.
APD is a power down function that automatically switches the EXA100 into standby mode if there is no audio or incoming signal. The APD time represents the amount of time required for there to be no audio before the EXA is automatically put into the standby mode.
This feature can be enabled or disabled by following the steps below:
- Enter the setup menu - Whilst the EXA100 is in standby mode, press and hold speaker A/B button until speaker A/B white LED’s flash alternately, then release speaker A/B button.
- Select A1 as described below, to either disable or enable APD.
A1 on (LED will be lit blue) – Sets the APD time to 20 minutes.
A1 off – Disables the APD function.
To save the setup settings and exit the setup menu, press the Speaker A/B button.
Pressing the Standby/On button while in the setup menu will exit this setup menu and will not save the setup settings.
