We have received a few reports from users experiencing no audio and/or tracks skipping by themselves when streaming from Spotify Connect to their Network Player.
This doesn't seem to be a common problem or an issue with the Network Players themselves, but rather a network-related issue.
One user reported the following, we have since passed this on to a few other users which seems to have resolved the issue for them:
"I powered off the router, set up my mobile as a hotspot network and connected my Network Player to it. Spotify then worked fine, this to me indicated a router issue.
I contacted my broadband provider who then turned off the IPV6 setting and rebooted the router. This seems to have resolved the problem."
We would suggest:
- Switching off the IPV6 setting within your router network settings (or contacting your broadband provider and asking them to do this).
- Rebooting your network router.
- Ensuring that your Spotify app is running the latest app version.
