Try these solutions:
1. Ensure that the supplied Bluetooth antenna is properly connected to the back of the unit
The CXA will be unable to connect to a Bluetooth device without the antenna connected. Try disconnecting and then re-connecting the antenna.
2. Ensure that the Bluetooth source has been selected by selecting the Bluetooth/USB Audio button on the front panel
The Bluetooth source is shown by the symbol being lit blue. When the USB source is active the LED will be orange.
3. Ensure that your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode and not already connected to another Bluetooth unit
4. Forget the CXA from your devices’ list of discoverable Bluetooth items and start the pairing process again
5. Perform a factory reset on the CXA:
- Whilst the CXA is in standby mode, press and hold the speaker A/B button.
- Then when the A/B lights flash, press D1, D3, USB, D2 in a U shape sequence
6. Switch off any other Bluetooth devices in the vicinity and try the pairing process again.
There could be other Bluetooth devices in the room that could be interfering with the signal
6. Try to connect a different Bluetooth device to the CXA to see if the issue persists
It may be an issue with your Bluetooth device.
