NP30, Minx Xi and Stream Magic 6 customers have contacted us regarding an announcement they have received regarding BBC Radio 6 Music, as well as other regional BBC internet radio stations.
The announcement mentions that your device will not be able to stream BBC radio programs after 22nd March 2021 due to a switch in the internet radio service provider:
"The way your device receives BBC radio programmes will stop working on or after the 22nd March 2021. If you’re using an internet radio or smart speaker, please contact the device manufacturer. If you’re using an app on another device, we recommend you listen using the BBC Sounds app or website".
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you overwrite existing BBC internet radio presets with new ones using the new provider, Airable. This will ensure that the newly updated radio station provider is being used to manage the streams for your network player.
