The Melomania App is designed for use with Melomania Touch and Melomania 1+, and not Melomania 1, so if you try and connect a pair of Melomania 1's to the app the app will not function.
Unfortunately it is impossible for us to make Melomania 1 retro-compatible with the app, as it was never designed to work with an app when it was designed over a year ago.
